I ended up w a new mast from Ensign Spars.

Small fortune and took about 11 months to get it shipped, stepped, and rigged.


If not restoring the boat I’d recommend finding a used mast somewhere. I may be as cheap to purchase an old dog trashed boat just for the spar.

i am restoring a boat for Nationals in Cleveland in August. I discovered I needed replacement standing rigging for some seriously tired existing shrouds. Local riggers can duplicate what you have almost everywhere. Ensign Spars told me they have shrouds in stock right now. All the prices seem about the same in my area. So availability is the differentiator.

New mast, never used, rigging as described above. Stored in mast shed at McMichaels Yacht Yard, Post Road - Mamaroneck, NY. Excellent condition for a fortunate Ensign owner who doesn't want to incur trucking fees to the Northeast. Perfect for a Class Association member in the NYC area. Selling due to a move overseas; motivated to see it go to a new home and sailor. Cost today from Ensign Spars is $2000 w/o any rigging, plus trucking. $1500 or best offer.
