Mike Macina has submitted a report on the October 5, 2025, race at the Thames Yacht Club which was the third race of their Chowder Series. 

"On a beautiful fall day, the Thames Yacht Club held the third race of their Chowder Series. The winds were light and out of the south, and with the bright sun and 80 degree weather it couldn’t have been a better start to the month’s racing."

"Unfortunately, due to some personal commitments, only three Ensigns (Swoose, Teamwork, and Triton) were able to compete.  The race committee set a windward course to the mouth of the river with the ebbing tide, followed by a downwind leg against the current, and a short windward leg to the finish."
